"The property was very clean and updated with all amenities needed. Top of the line linens and towels. The beds and all furniture were very comfortable and well kept with several nice inflatable mattresses for the kids. Kitchen utensils and outdoor cooking were more than we’ve had in most rentals other places. The property is beautifully landscaped with many places to relax and enjoy the Austin hill country. Front porch swings, deck areas and pool were immaculately cleaned and always available upon request. The property owner was very quick to assist in all needs for the rental as well as helping locate parks and places to explore. We really enjoyed the deer and other wildlife. We felt very safe and had a lot of privacy. I will book another stay and add on the pool house or farmhouse suite. The owner was very nice and always checked in to see if there was anything we needed. Great place for a secluded relaxing getaway but still very close and convenient to many hot spots in Austin. Highly recommended !"

"This was a perfect long-weekend getaway during the pandemic. This enchanting cabin and large property where deer like to graze is tucked away on a hillside with views of the rolling hills. There is a private pool for use anytime, and the hot tub and charming fireplace can be heated for an additional fee ("optional add-on"). The cabin is close to beautiful lake Austin. We went out on a boat, swam, and even did fireworks on the lake. There are also parks and hiking trails nearby which we enjoyed. The host pays great attention to detail, and the cabin is well-maintained and well-stocked. The host lives in a house on the same property, but the cabin is above the separate garage and is very private. At first, I was a little confused by the list of optional add-ons, but the place is great even without them - although I would definitely recommend at least getting the wine and welcome basket!"

"We had a great stay at the guesthouse cabin! Very nice, very clean home tucked away among tons of trees. It had a very secluded feel but was not far from austin amenities. We booked very last minute and Nina was very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay! We will definitely stay there again! "

"We needed a quick getaway. The criteria was near the water, must have a pool, quiet and a touch of nature. We got it all here. We had planned to do some day trips but mostly ended up lounging by that great pool partially shaded by lovely trees. We will definitely be back."

"Nina had everything ready when we got there, she is very polite and ready if you need anything. She had chairs, cooler, towels and marshmallows (we forgot ours)ready if you should need it. With 4 kids it couldn't have gone better and more relaxing. It's very clean and beautifully decorated. Nina has an amazing talent with art. The pool is wonderful w/a hot tub beside it. The fireplace is a big plus!!! Perfect peaceful area ,very well kept, is in short driving distance to the river. We thank you for such a wonderful family vacation!!..."

"My husband and I stayed at this guesthouse all last week. It was meticulously clean and I really appreciated the extras - like specialty soaps in the bathroom and makeup remover wipes. The large deck off the back is a perfect place to just relax. We saw deer every day. The location is convenient - just a short drive to downtown Austin. The guesthouse was nice and WiFi was good. We ordered 1 picnic basket and 1 breakfast basket. They were special - lots of items we had never seen or tried before. I can tell you that we ate breakfast and lunch every day from these two baskets and still took food home. I would highly recommend this place if you ever wanna get away that is close to Austin!"

"My daughters and I loved this location and the beautiful guest house. The spa package and flowers were totally worth it and it was a short drive into Austin to enjoy the best live music in the state, I will book again. Nina was a wonderful host! "

"I had a great experience getting a cabin in Austin,Tx with a very communicative property manager who gladly helped with every step to make my first trip a very successful and fun one. I recommend this cabin and property to anyone who is trying to get away and feel at home & also recommend the pool and hot tub package well worth it with a great view. Overall it was amazing and as a first timer it went very well , very nice property owner and she even set up a pool party for me lol 5 stars guaranteed."

"You can tell the love and care that's put into the property. Attention to detail in everything. Family of 6 had no problem in the 1/1; there was adequate space for everyone. We saw deer and a gazillion hummingbirds (during our morning coffee on the swing). Nina was very considerate and followed through on every request. Easily one of the best hosts we've ever had."

"The decor is very well done. Naturally, there was a big flat screen TV with full cable, and a complete kitchen where we prepared no end of fattening snacks. These lodgings provided virtually all the comforts of home; neat, clean, orderly, with non surprise. Just like I like it! "

The location was quiet, beautiful and restful. Lovely views out the large sunny Windows. The property is unique and very well maintained. In addition, the owner is lovely. She is available should you need anything, yet also respects your privacy. A great place for a couple to stay.
